I absolutely loved the charming and cozy ambiance of the hotel. The old wooden building with its tasteful renovation was a delight. It felt like stepping back in time but with all the modern conveniences. The hotel's common areas were beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel easily accessible with no stairs to climb and well-lit corridors.

I wish the hotel had more activities specifically designed for senior guests.

Charming and cozy boutique hotel located in a historic building, with attention and care given to its renovation. Enjoyed the stylish atmosphere, as well as the friendly and attentive staff. The complimentary tea and tasty breakfast were a nice surprise, too. The bed was soft and the quality of the toiletries was impressive. loved the option of borrowing bicycles for free and using a large and fully-equipped gym nearby.

The size of the room was a bit small and the insulation was not great. The wash basin was quite small, too.

The air conditioning was on full blast through the night and cannot be turned off by a guest. As a result, I managed to get only a few hours of sleep, which was very exhausting and ruined my day.

The location was great, with just a short walk to the city center. I had a lovely stay at De Gamlas Hem Hotel & Restaurant and would recommend it to others.
